In recent times I've been feeling this DA account has gotten a bit, well, stale.

I mean I have a lot of history here and not all of it positive. DCE's bullying, belittling and just plain disrespecting me and my characters was a major factor in me almost leaving many years ago. Kae does not refer to herself as 'The Asian Hottie" for crying out loud! What women disrespects herself like that anyway?

Such long periods of inactivity has resulted in a very variable quality of artwork posted here too. True, each piece I put up has at one point been something that I was proud of but the sad truth is a lot of it is showing it's age very badly. The fact that I didn't bother colouring them does not help either and the whole gallery is not very nice to look at.

For a while I was just considering starting a new account (and I didn't want "Dragon-the-Tribrid" as a user name anyway) but after finding out that you can now change user names I've decided to have a spring clean instead. Lots of my old stuff that I don't want on display will now be moved to my scrapbook as I know there's still plenty that's in someone's favourites folder somewhere. For some reason my old Kae Henshin oekaki can't be moved so that might stay, or may get deleted.

I suppose this is sounding like I'm giving myself a fresh start and would ideally be a great time to put new stuff up, but the honest truth is that right now I can't!

Reasons? Well upgrading my mac to Lion OS has resulted in the version of photoshop I was using incompatible and as that wasn't enough, recent events in my life (don't want to go into details but it's worse than I'm making it sound) has seen the house no longer possessing a scanner.
It's a bugger really as I've got a small selection of pics that I've been meaning to scan in for a while now and I can't even finish colouring the old stuff I had started either! Although that lot was dating back to 2008 so maybe it's for the best.
I've started a new version of Nightmare though. It's not a continuation or a reboot but rather a rewrite of what I did originally. My writing skills have improved since those chapters and I've had more ideas for the world that Nightmare and Waterfall live in, including new villains, new heroes and other such stuff you'll find in any fine publication from either DC or Marvel!
